Flowing away from the norm, Nnenna Okore's way

Nnenna Okore HER preference for discarded materials such as fabric, newspaper, ropes, thread, yarn, fiber, burlap, among others within her environment stands her out from the crowd. Not does she only creates beautiful works, she gives life to the materials and allow the work to speak for its self thereby creating engaging pieces. Nnenna Okore will be showcasing some of those pieces in her current exhibition titled 'Flow' on Monday, February 18 at Wheatbaker Hotel, 4, Onitolo Road, off Gerrard Ikoyi, Lagos State.

Badagry council donates patrol cars to police

•Dosu presenting the patrol vans to representatives of the PoliceFurtherance to the need to enhance and tighten security in the Local Government, the Executive Chairman,  Hon. Husitode Moses Dosu has donated two patrol vehicles to Nigeria Police Area “K” Command and one van to the Neighborhood Watch in Badagry at the Council Secretariat recently.
