Remembering Ambali Sanni: The unsung hero

The name Ambali Olanrewaju Sanni [ 2nd November 1928 to 9th May 1993] may not ring bell in the ears of some Nigerians, but Sanni, a first class mathematician and physicist who shaped the destiny of Ijebu Muslim College for over 2 decades in the early 60s through the 70s was by every definition a colossus in the field of education.
The Lagos State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described the Lagos State government as hypocritical and dictatorial for shrouding government activities and projects in secrecy.
The on-going political crisis in Igbo-Eze North council area of Enugu State, the homestead of Senator Ayogu Eze, senate committee chairman on works, has taken another dimension as all 20 councillors of the local government have demanded that some People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Ward chairmen and their officials involved in political oath-taking recently be tried and punished.
