Globacomhas launched a new tariff plan that would allow its customer to pay as low as 15 kobo per second for calls made within its network. Known as Glo Gista, the new tariff plan enables the network’s subscribers to talk more and spend less on calls whenever and wherever.
Unveiling the plan in Lagos in Monday, Globacom’s Director of Marketing, Mr. Adeniyi Olukoya said that the product would radically change the way Nigerians use telephones and generally add value to life.
“With Glo Gista, Nigerians can now gist with loved one and business associates without limit at fifteen kobo per second. This is the most competitive tariff plan without barriers in the Nigerian telecoms industry”, he said.
He noted that Glo Gista for new and existing prepaid subscribers on the Glo network, saying that anybody who purchased a new Glo line would automatically be connected to Glo Gista and enjoy rock bottom rates while existing subscribers will dial *100*15*1# to migrate to the Gista platform.
He added that subscribers on the new tariff plan could also call five international destinations at Seven Naira Eighty Kobo after the first minute at Fifteen Naira.
Olukoya said subscribers on the Glo Gista will also enjoy other benefits including the current N200 per bonus recharge promo noting that “we also have a variety of products that resonate with the people and promote happiness for the greatest number of the citizens of the country”.
