In keeping with the promise they made when the highly successful ‘Apple Story’ campaign was launched, The La Casera Company Limited, makers of the popular La Casera Apple flavour drink, have formally presented prizes to the winners who emerged in the campaign at the Company’s Headquarters in Lagos.
The highlight of the occasion was the presentation of prizes to the top three stories as selected from thousands of entries by a panel comprising the Company’s senior executives and respected Media Practitioners.
According to the man who currently heads the marketing arm of the La Casera Company Limited, the General Manager CB Total Impact (CBTI), Mr. Gary Carlton, the winning stories were selected based on their ‘Realness’ and the fact that these stories also keyed in to the major theme of the Apple Story Campaign which talks about the real connection between La Casera Apple Drink and its teeming Consumers.
“The ‘Apple Story’ Campaign was designed to develop a deeper emotional connection with the teeming consumers of the popular La Casera Apple flavour drink and we wanted to hear exciting and moving stories from their lives in which the Apple drink played a key role. Out of the many entries that we received, we believe these three best exemplify this theme.” he said.
The first prize of a 32” LCD Flat screen TV was presented to Mr. Adeshola Ogunmuyiwa, who is a freelance writer. Businessman Hyacinth Madubueze won the 2nd Prize of a Laptop, while Ms. Ebunoluwa Meroyi, a University undergraduate, picked up the 3rd Prize of a Blackberry Curve.
The Apple Story Campaign had been launched on Radio Phone-in Programmes with winning entries being sent to the website. Mr. Carlton reveals that a Road Show is planned for the next phase of the Campaign and would transverse the length of the country.
“We’re going to the different regions of Nigeria to tell the unique story of La Casera Apple flavour drink to the people, get to hear theirs and of course, reward them with great prizes for sharing.” Carlton said.
