She remains the first and only female ever elected in Nigeria's Bar history to lead the lawyers' umbrella group, the Nigerian Bar Association, (NBA) as president. Chief (Mrs) Priscilla Olabori Aderonke Kuye, the amazon of the Bar and alumnus of the prestigeous University of London, Gray Inn, where she obtained her Bachelor of Law (LL.B) in 1966.
Kuye was, however called to the Nigerian Bar in June 1967. The former 72 year-old 'Iron Lady' of the Nigerian Bar is a life Bencher.
