Globacom has introduced a new number series, 0811 to the market to cater for its rapidly increasing subscriber base in Nigeria. This is as the company begins preparations for its epochal 10th anniversary which comes up later this year.
The new number series, totalling ten million lines, is for existing and new subscribers to the network following approval by the Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC).
“We are pleased to inform our teeming, existing and prospective subscribers of the new number series which has been rolled into the market,” Niyi Olukoya, Globacom's Acting Head of Marketing said, adding that the company had exhausted the earlier series allocated to it, hence the approval for the new one.
“We have endeared our self to the people and we are glad to be the network of choice among telephone users”, he added.
He urged interested subscribers to join the growing family of Glo clients to enjoy greater coverage, special rates, numerous freebies, unrivalled quality network service, data usage and sundry value-added services. “Since we started our operation, we have changed the game and redefined the rules to excite the people. That is why our focus has been on innovation, service delivery and reward for customers.”
The Glo 0811 SIM brings to five the number series on the Glo network which included 0805, 0807, 0705 as well as 0815. Olukoya assured subscribers who wish to obtain the new number series of a rich and exciting telephony experience. “This is our new year gift to our numerous customers and we are determined to make the new year as memorable and fulfilling as possible for our subscribers”, the statement concluded.
